DLA Success!

DD 4.1 has devlopmental delay, sensory issues and is awaiting assessment for Autism.

Applied for DLA a few weeks ago and after hearing so many bad stories about being turned down, I wasn't very hopeful.

But, we got middle rate care! Hooray! We used the Cerebra guide to help us with the forms.

Just wanted to give some hope for those who are thinking it might not be worth applying for.

Thank you! My son is 3 with possible learning difficulties, sensory issues and communication difficulties. We strong suspect ASD and are fighting for referalls but everything in my area is massively backed up.
Anyway i am sending his DLA forms off tomorrow convinced we won't get anything so this has given me hope.
I've used the cerebra guide too. Its quite hard to explain the extra things I have to do when he is only 3!

And sorry should have said - great news for you. Its a bloody tough form to fill out so you must be very relieved and happy.
