spelling help for ds with Hemi

My son has a right sided hemiplegia and has always struggled with spelling. He is 11 and has had an NHS Ed psych review; which picked up that he is border line dyslexic.
I want to help him with his spelling, can anyone recommend a program I could do with him at home or should I be looking for a specialist tutor?
Has anyone used Nessy was it any good?

Thank you

Nessy is more of a typing package for dyslexics I think?

Ok thank you, I will keep looking.

Your OT might be able to help suggest something? Can he use a keyboard with his hemi hand?

Not with his hemi hand, I have looked into “spelling tutor dyslexia gold” and am going to give that a try. The main issue is trying to find a way for him to remember how to spell a word.

Lexia is a good programme. It's for students with dyslexia and dyspraxia so is useful with kids with CP as well.

However my ds just has never got spelling. We wondered if it's due to his mild CP.
he's switching between lexia and ac/ac at the moment.

He's not actually learning to spell very well though!
