We are looking for a great school for my son who is 9 at the moment but obviously secondary is not too far off!
We are so lucky to have a wonderful open minded inclusive primary school where we live at the moment (England), but we are going to be moving to Scotland and we would like to find a great secondary school catchment area and then house hunt from there.
DS does not have a diagnosis of ASD, only Auditory Processing Disorder and Dyspraxia, but he has MANY ASD traits. Socially he is not too bad but he is badly affected by sensory issues, changes to plans, etc. He has had to access quite a lot of support so far in primary school.
Really needs to a school where there isn't lots of bad behaviour as he gets really upset by things like this. I know I'm probably asking for the impossible but if anyone has found a great school in this area then I'd love to hear about it. Feel free to dm me if you would prefer not to say publicly.
