Not sure if this the right place to post this but not sure where else would fit. I have two dc - my DD is10 and starting secondary school in September. My DS is 8 and has additional needs and an EHCP. We have looked at schools for my DD and had found one mainstream school that we thought would actually suit both children and had this listed on our school application as first choice. My DS got her second choice school. We are out of priority catchment for the first school so unlikely to get this on the continuing interest list. Does anyone know whether the fact that this school would work best for both our children would be a ground for appeal or would they only look at DD and not the bigger picture. Any thoughts would be welcome thank you.
