I’m appealing for my child and the LA want to talk very last minute.

I’m not sure it’s a good idea. They have had months to chat but are only free now the hearing is very very soon

We are in the same position although we have chosen to talk to LA. Hoping they agree our points and tribunal can be called off. Good luck!

My hearing is to late to be called off now. Even if they conceded the judge would expect us to be present for the hearing. They are hounding me, so they can’t be that confident or prepared.

I think it’s mind games as it’s a simple appeal to issue so unless they say yes in the phone I would rather have the appeal

The charity advising me said that our tribunal can be called off the night before even though the official paperwork says it can't. They said it happens all the time.

Agree with mind games though, i'm worried about that too!

I signed a consent order after the last appeal was conceded in full by the LA. Even with the consent order we both needed to go in to explain why it was conceded two days before.

This isn’t my first appeal
