"I'm being an X"

Meant to post this weeks ago as that's when ds said this. He was lying on the bed, arms and legs outstretched in an X shape. And here was me worried about him showing interest in letters. Still shows no interest in writing though but he's not even started school yet so its early days. Could cause some laughter in the classroom if he actually wants to 'be' the letters.

He also came out with a new word yesterday. Took a teatowel off the washing line and said that he'd taken it off the "sundrier"

Hmmmm maybe this thread title was a bit obscure. Had to post this new phrase - ds has mashed advocado with olive oil. He asked for some olive oil the other day by saying "advocado wine".

that is great eulalia - I missed this one.... I think it would be fun in the class if he wanted to 'be' the letters....

Not the right place, as ds2 isn't SN at all (as far as we know) but last month on the long drive from Scotland to Devon he said 'are we in Heaven yet?' Made a nice change from the others' repeated 'are we nearly there yet's!

I love that jmb1964!

ds is also obsessed with eggs at the moment and talks about having fried, scrambled or "oiled eggs" (boiled)
