Thanks to all of you who have helped me in the past. DS2 aged 10 has been diagnosed privately with severe auditory dyslexia and I have a meeting with the school this week. The school have tinkered with help with spelling but what he needs is one to one help with phonics. He memorises words so can read but his spelling is unrecognisable. How much one to one help can I expect / ask for as I think I will not be offered more than his current 20 mins after school once a week?
