I've has just come back from a meeting with my childs school. He has ASD and there have been a few things I've not been happy with.

I ended up losing my temper and I hate myself for it. I feel so bad that the teacher was a bit ambushed.

Have any of you ever been in a position where you just had enough and got angry with the school? I feel so guilty. I'm not a shouter.

Help me feel better!

As a senco I have experienced this and nearly always felt it was my fault for not managing things better. You are advocating for your child. Yesin a perfect world we wouldn't get emotional, lose our temper but it happens. If you feel really bad about it write a letter apologising for the loss of temper but explaining you are anxious about your child and just want the best for them. maybe ask for another meeting? You don't say who the meeting was with but mention the teacher. Would it help to meet and chat with her directly?
Whatever, give up feeling guilty. It's not helping anyone. Hope you feel better soon.
