Had the visit from the SALT and the physio - just to get family b ackground... dd automatically qualifies for therapy etc and so after a team meeting yesterday - they were developing a therapy program for her and we will start soon.....

Did learn that makaton is not universal - makaton signs in AUstralia are different to the UK - glad we do not do a lot of signs for dd and we can learn more now that other people working with her will be familiar with...... the SALT Is lovely and I look forward to getting on with that.....

Dd has also made progress - on the weekend when she was in the bath - she used the edge of the bath to pull herself up into a standing position - a couple of times!!! First time she has done that..... then yesterday - she used the arm rest of the couch to pull her self to standing from her ride on car and then lifted her leg across to get off..... makes a change from her usual kamikaze throw herself sideways off the car

I am sooo proud of her!!
