ASAP isn’t a phrase that goes with private EPs IME! When I looked into this I was told 3 months waiting and £1300. Possibly by Ruth Birnbaum’s office but don’t quote me on that! In the end we applied for an EHCP so the EP report was paid for by the LA and was done & dusted within 9-10 weeks or so.

SOS!SEN gave me a couple of names and numbers for Ed Psychs they recommend. I was quoted £2,500 and a 2 month wait but I am rural-ish. I didn't go ahead so I can't speak for how good value for money it would have been.

Batul Daulby is the principal EP at The Child and Family Consultancy (link below), she is phenomenal, I know two families who have used her and both have had really good experiences. I believe she charges in the region of £600 or thereabouts
