Hi we are thinking of moving to the Crawley (West Sussex area) as currently living in Wiltshire but our high functioning autistic (not aspergers) son's brilliant resource base unit in mainstream school is closing at Christmas (also my husband now works in London, so figure fate is trying to tell us something ). We initially looked to moving to Surrey as heard the county specialised in autism but proving to be impossible finding a resource based unit there (even by trying to wait until sept 2018). Just wondered if anyone could recommend or advise on the schools around West Sussex area? Many thanks for any advice.

SENDIS, who are based in Chichester hold a list of schools in West Sussex and they're worth talking to. Also look at westsussex.local-offer.org/ for helpful advice Smile
