Does anyone know if there is published guidance on what this can and can't be spent on please. My extensive googling has yielded no helpful results. Just about how to claim it and that it's for increasing accessibility. I am particularly interested to know what the guidance (if it exists) says about capital expenditure. Thank you

Hi, just seen your post, I’m not sure on what it can be spent on but I am trying to get an actual claim for it, I’ve asked my DS inclusion officer but she doesn’t know where to claim it from or who it needs to be sent to, Gov website just says local authority but where do I start??

It’s a bit of mysterious fund with not much detail about it at all

There is a question on the early years funding form that says, does your child receive higher rate DLA and then it says some blurb about the disability access fund. Once you return this form to your setting, they claim the DAF in the same way as they claim the early years funding. The setting will ask you for a copy of the DLA letter.
