Large buggy

My son is nearly 3 but is very delayed in his development. This is currently being assessed by a paediatrician. Because of this delay he is still very wobbly on his feet and can't walk long distances however he is getting to big for his buggy. His legs spill over the footrest and the straps only just go round him. Can anyone recommend a buggy with a decent sized seat that will last him til he is big enough for a wheelchair (if he needs one when he is older)?

maclaren major elite (or the excel elise which is cheaper and almost exactly the same) or the special tomato eio or jogger.

I have one of these. Technically a jogging stroller but front wheel can swivel for walking. Great off and on road for walking with and has a really high weight limit. 70lbs Inc whatever you put underneath. http://www.ecrater.co.uk/p/22426340/navy-bob-revolution-se-single?gps=1
