We have a lovely 5 year old daughter who has a diagnosis of a rare chromosomal abnormality who has sensory issues, speech and language delays and motor planning issues. She is likely to have ADHD , we've been told they won't diagnose ADHD until she's a little older... I read the book "The Explosive Child" recommended here which really helped me put myself in her shoes and cope with her behaviour.
Does anyone have recommendations on a book that I could read about ADHD?... it really helps me when I can understand a little more about what's going on in her head and see things from her perspective.There's so many to choose from on AMAZON that I'd love a recommendation.
