Hi, I have found out that my little girl who is 4 has moderate sensorineural hearing loss😩 she will be having hearing aids in both her ears. It has effected her speech(she is having speech therapy also) does anyone know if I would get dla for it? Thanks

I would guess this makes her needs greater than another 4 year old so yes.
Make sure you clearly state how her needs the greater and the impact this has on the form.

Hi, my 3 month old has hearing difficulties and will be fitted for hearing aids next week.

Please look at the NDCS website for information and support.

They have an area explaining DLA and tips on how to complete the forms (apparently it's 40 page monster!)

My DS has the same hearing loss as your DD. He receives DLA. NDCS website gives good advice on filling in as previous poster said. Though agree it is a long form!
