I sent the form in for ds2 last week and today i have had two phone calls asking me to clarify various things .
Is this what normally happens ?

The woman just didn't seem to be getting it when i was trying to explain things so i don't hold out much hope anyway .

I have no idea what is normal but I had no contact at all from the DWP about dd's application last year until I got the assessment date.

hmm yes thats what i was expecting . She was asking me things that were already asked on the form too . Made me feel like i was being tested as some kind of liar Confused

Yes we had a followup phone call asking all the questions I had answered on the form and I did feel I was being interrogated however within 2 weeks letter arrived awarding her high care and high mobility. She was on middle care and low mobilityConfused
Try not to worry and good luck

No, just a rather intrusive phone call, like your DS she would go into her shell. If he is called for face to face please try not to worry, she did have a face to face for ESA and she was refused but we appealed and it was overturned. Phew until next time!
