Changing hospitals

So my youngest has a few issues however I've found that his consultant tends to ignore anything we say untill eventually the hv or gp then refer to appropriate people (e.g. Physio and salt) and then they confirm that yes we were right and it's an issue, but by the time hv/gp step in said issue has become even worse then when we first started pointing it out- so my question is has anyone had this problem and changed hospitals for their child's care? Is it possible to do (we have 2 hospitals and 40 mins away)? Hope this makes sense!

We have never had to initiate the change, because DD is always referred by her consultant up to the next level - local hospital to regional centre to national centre.

However, if we had wanted her to be under another local hospital, I would have just gone to the GP, explained why we weren't happy and asked her to refer.
