Almost there LOL (well, round one- ds3 to go!)

Its ays 10 hours support individually or in a small group.

IS that normal?

I've been warned to watch for things couched in terms so vague that the Head can just shove him in an existing group and swipe the cash (I know the PTA have rebelled and held back cash she wanted).

I ahve to sign and return, or ask for amendment. I am happy with 10 hours, as long as he will get the befit (plus, theres a child in ds2's class gets statemnt time and I think ds2 sees just as much of it)

The 10 hours I am OK with

its the small group bit- I mean small could be 30 kids doing emotion if they were despearte couldnt it (ie a normal class)

Or am I paranoid now? LOL

I think if it were that many you would have good grounds for a complaint .

In secondary,it is quite normal to split the hours between in class support and small group work. I have taught groups of 3-5 within statemented hours.
