Is this a bit weird for an ADOS question?

As part of a recent ADOS, DS was asked whether he had a boyfriend or girlfriend. He was a bit when he told me. He is only 11 and still in primary school. I can't see why they asked the question.

It would show some understanding (or not) of social situations.

Oh OK. I think he just told them he was too young.
