Help: received provisional statement and it's rubbish

I'm in ni to we still have statements. After kicking up fuss finally received ds2 provisional.statement. It's wishy washy, nonspecific, just states he need additional help. The charity helping me is closed for a month and iv got to reply in 2 wks. Where can I find info? What can I do

SOS!SEN are brilliant so are NAS. We also got independent supporter from family lives who was very good. I can never get through to IPSEA!

no luck with ipsea. Iv gone through and virtually rewrote part 2 from the ed psych report, speech therapy ect - so stressful. Try part 3 tomorrow

do Ipsea have a call back service? thought you can book a call back?

ipsea seems to be booked sold for next month at least. Contacted NAS and they are looking over everything for me - 15day deadline is a head melter

Thank you. Iv wrote section 3 but i think iv got too much in objectives and not enough in provision. AND the education board has took the 15 days from when they sent it so its due in Tuesday gahhhh

The way to go is definitely to have decent, detailed and specific provision that meets all the needs in part 2. It needs to be evidenced from the professional advice.

I went through evidence and highlighted ds issues and bullet pointed them for part 2. Hardly any r in statement at the moment. Iv rejigged objectives to be more quantified and long term. And iv asked for specdifc provision to meet needs in part 2.

I think I may have put in too much but hey ho.
