Please could you share any experience you may have of how ADD or ADHD look in young girls?

Since my DD was about 1 I've thought something was a little different about her. When she was 4 I thought possibly Aspergers but it doesn't quite fit. Then I found an article the other day about ADHD presenting differently in girls and something seemed to fall into place in my head. She is now 5.5. We don't live in UK so she's not in school yet.

We are in same position. Dd is 6. She is being assessed for autism (poss Asperger traits) but now I'm wondering about add/adhd?

She has been absolutely bouncing off the walls and aggressive this evening. Also climbing up a towel rail towards an open window, despite is telling her the dangers ans prev warning her.

God it's hard isn't it blossom.
Some days she's hilarious and brilliant, other days when she's being aggressive I just want to shut myself away.
