My son was diagnosed with this last year at the age of 14. It took 4 years of persistence and frustration to eventually receive the diagnosis. My son is now 15 and will be going into Year 11 in September and taking GCSEs next year. His Year 10 exams have not gone well and based on this he may leave school with nothing. I just wondered if anyone has had a child with APD go through exams and how they coped, revision strategies etc...I am dealing with the SEN at school regarding extra time in the exams but get the feeling it will make little difference to the results. Thx
