PIP without a f2f, how long?

Has anybody made a claim for PIP and not needed a f2f assessment? I've made a claim for my DD who has an acquired brain injury and when I rang today with more information I was told she doesn't need a f2f as I'd given lots of information which has all been backed up by her health professionals.

I just wondered how long the wait was from submission of the firms back to DWP from capita for the decision?

We had a decision less than a month after i posted the pip2 form, no f2f needed as the information given was sufficient, I was very surprised.

Had forgotten I'd posted this, my DD got her award a week after I'd posted this query!

That's great news.
