Government condones LA failures

You know how councils are constantly breaking the law on meeting deadlines, criteria used for decision making, contents of EHC Plans, delivering support in EHC Plans etc etc, and we keep speculating whether the government deliberately closes its eyes to it? Well, according to Philip Hammond at an election hustings last night, they do - because they regard saving money as more important than helping disabled children. Depressingly, none of us will be surprised.

Well at least he's said what we've all been saying for years.

Hopefully now someone will act.

I answered your post in AIBU, not many people will be that bothered by it though because unless they have a child with SEN it doesn't affect them so they are not interested enough to even think about it. It will disappear down the board very quickly unless we try and keep it on page 1.
