Just wondering if anyone has done ABA for their dc with global developmental delay and whether it helped their communication skills?
Thanks

Yes, do it! My DD has GDD and I was hesitant as I had only heard of ABA in relation to ADD. She has made great progress on it, so much so that 'a marked change' was noticed and she is now able to repeat her nursery year in September rather than go to the special needs school we had originally been pushed towards. My daughter's communication has improved, specifically one of the first things we worked on was her asking for things as she did a lot of labelling but very little requesting. It has reduced the frustration for both her and us. Feel free to PM me if you want any more information about our experiences.
