it was my ds1's 5th birthday today and - following your suggestion on the xmas present thread - this evening i called him into the bathroom to show him his bath with colour changing lights. for the first time ever he stripped off on HIS OWN and jumped in!! 20 minutes later 3 children were still sitting in the bath in the dark and the twins were shouting 'few more minutes'.
a really lovely end to a day which had it's ups and downs.
