My DS has been made an appointment to sit a ADOS assessment. He sat a QB test on Monday and will he doing the ADOS on 22nd.
I have been sold my physc that she does believe my son is definetly on the spectrum but more aspergers which I know is all diagnosed as ASD now.
If she knows then why does he have to sit a ADOS assessment

It's a good idea for diagnosis to be based on more than just on person's view. The test result isn't necessarily a definitive answer. The decision is often made by a panel with a variety of expertise using a range of information gathered about the child. This helps them to ensure that the best decision is made for the child.
