18 yo son just diagnosed, very weak working memory, auditory and verbal processing. Access arrangements applied for for A levels - 25% additional time, rest breaks and use of computer. Looking at tech that may help with lessons and revision - has anybody any experience with inspiration software or note taking software? Reading pen or scanning pen? Bit overwhelmed by all the gadgets available!

There's a really good website which has loads of useful info that you will find helpful. www.callscotland.org.uk/home/ Check out the downloads tab and go to 'posters and leaflets'. Here are a couple that I have found useful, but there are more on the website.

My son uses dragon and has a c-pen. Both lifelines. You can get apps for an iPad or iphone that record lectures and can be edited for pasting into text etc.
