Today- rung for update, no trace of a claim on their system!

Oh, and last time I rung the guy could see the whole form..

Oh dear, I had a similar experience when I applied for DS1 a few years ago. How was it left, are they going to look into it and call you back? In the end I got to speak to a very helpful person (having endured many not so much) and long story short it was in the bank before I'd been notified he'd been awarded it.

Disinterested lady said she'd arrange call back, I hope she noted my number properly. She started the call too quiet and by the end was an incomprehensible whisper- I swear she moved the mouthpiece further and further away because the line was fine!!

Have they called you back? I had a few of those calls until I spoke to someone who was more helpful. Luck of the draw I think!

Yes thank you, a brief call from a woman whose tone seemed to imply there'd never been an issue. "Your claim is here, yes".

I never applied for child benefit, so it was sent to their specialist trace team to allocate a reference number- it's yet to see a case worker :-(

Hopefully it will move along the process a bit quicker now. Hope you hear back soon and it doesn't vanish again!
