Hi, my son is 3yrats old and has been diagnosed with EBS which means he gets blisters on his hands and feet. They do get quite sore and when they get sore on his feet he does tend to walk on the side of his feet. He doesnt get them all the time..in the summer they are a lot worse. Im just wondering if i should be claiming DLA as ive read some threads and seen some people are claiming it. Has anyone claimed DLA for EBS before? Any help advice or support would be great. Thanks

Hey, my 5 year ols son has EBS. He gets lower mobility dla. He suffers quite regularly, missing school and i have to carry him to toilet in the night when he is unable to walk. Are you on the EB pages on FB?

Hello, our little one has been diagnosed with EBS, my partner also has it,I'm wondering if we should be claiming dla for our 3yo.
He suffers more in the summer months then the winter but with him starting nursery soon I'm wondering if the suffering will become more common, in the summer he struggles with walking & is in alot of pain & can't wear shoes (unless backless if the blisters are only one the backs on his feet that is) have either of you claimed & been successful? Is this similar to what your children go through? Any information would be great!
