Does anybody's child do part-time or flexischooling? Seems like a great option and best of both worlds, but not sure how popular it is?

It would be great to hear people's experiences Smile

Yes. We flexi-school. My DD has dyslexia and is in year 5. The school have been very supportive so far - we started doing it last week. She's at school 3 days and home 2 days. So far so good. 1-1 is going to really help - I hope!

Not firsthand, but a friend recently was telling me that her niece, who is 6 with ASD traits (not officially dx), is doing this as it avoids her getting overloaded and melting down at home.

My son started reception with 2 afternoons a week at home (at our request). The school were accommodating but at Christmas asked for a plan to increase his time until full time before y1. So he now comes home just one aft and building up to full time. I would quite like him to have continued with the flexi schooling but actual school has been going really well.
