What on earth do I do now?

Here is the situation:

  1. Sent EHCP assessment request in September
  2. Received letter back saying I would hear back by a date in the middle of November.
  3. Date passed a few weeks ago.
  4. Contacted SOSSEN and was told to email the LA back and say I wanted a decision within three days otherwise I would be forced to seek a judicial review.
  5. This date has now passed and STILL not heard anything.

What do I do?

I want this sorted asap but they just won't respond!

I don't want them to think I'm bluffing but how do I start the judicial review process?

Ask SOS SEN to send a formal pre-action letter which is the first step that needs to be taken in the JR process. That will almost certainly work. Their email address seems to be [email protected].

Yes ask Sossen to do as above. I have done this twice. Once they get the letter it goes to your LA legal team and they will hand the EHCP over. Be prepaired it could be a bit crap as they might have rushed it. My sons took 36 weeks
