Hi all,
I have been encouraged to apply for DLA for my 6 year old daughter as she suffers from chronic idiopathic constipation with a slow moving bowel and mega bowel. She has had this condition since 2yra 2 months old and is under a specialist who is the one who has encouraged us to apply. She has to take medication 5 times a day, completely incontinant and has to be admitted to hospital around 3 times per year for clear outs.
Has anyone had a similar experience with their children? We have applyfor DLA and was wandering how likely she will be awarded the help and if so how long does it usually take to process?
