Following on from my SENCO thread, i was out the other night with my sisters having a drink. (not been out for about 2 years!!) and the lady serving us behind the bar is the assisstant manager at the nursery DD goes to.

The other day she asked could she do a case study on DD as she is doing a college course on SN Early years.
She asked me for some info on Hemi and ASD.

I gave it to her on Thursday, she said to me in the pub, she was very glad i had given that info to her, it helps her to see DD,s problems and areas that she can help her with, she then asked me did i know that she also was a SENCO, i said no, and she said she would like to take over from the SENCO DD has atm.

Well i nearly did cartwheels in the pub !!!!!

She said that when DD starts education in September the other SENCO will have to be involved as well but because DD goes full day to nursery she can do the majority of it, and she doesnt teach, she just "floats" around the nursery helping out.

She said "i love your DD , i love her to bits".

And then she bought me a drink!!!!!!
