Hi all :)

Just wondering what it will be like and how I should prepare, besides filling in the questionnaire they sent.

also if anyone has done an assessment with Oxfordshire CAMHS, I'd love to hear your experiences. Thanks :)

Not Oxfordshire, but I would take as much info as possible - red book from birth, any reports from SALT, ed psych, paed etc, and any extra information you can give. When we did it, DS was taken into one room with a specialist SALT and I gave information to a children's psych nurse in another room. It lasted about 2 and a half hours and was fairly gruelling at the time I'm afraid, but it is all worth it. Hope that helps.

Thanks Pelvic :) it is meant to be 1 1/2 hours which doesn't seem long enough somehow. We have never really had language prob which may count against an asd dish, but shall see...
