As some of you will know, ds is coming up to 5 years old and is a mostly non-verbal autistic.
But today he came home from school and as the escort was handing me his bag and stuff, she said 'Who's that?' to my ds and he looked at me and said ......

MUMMY!!!
I've never heard him refer to me properly without having to say it first!

Thank you all. He's been walking around all day pointing at me and saying 'Mummy' and giving his 'I'm sweet and innocent' smile.
