Hi,
I have 1 dd aged 3. She was born at 26 weeks and has faced a lot of different problems as you can imagine! She has a tracheostomy as her airway has a lot of scar tissue. Due to the tracheostomy she cannot speak but she signs like mad and so far seems to be reaching her milestones! It is great to discover sites like this as it can be very isolating having a child with SN but also very rewarding!

Welcome to MN, rivers --- I'm sure you'll find the site quite helpful, if not addictive!

Do you have any suggestions for signing resources?

Hi Rivers, i am quite new too - this site is great yet addictive!! So helpful and supportive to hear others are going through the same as me. My DS1 has mild AS. Sometimes he is fine - some days like yesterday all the AS related problems happen at once! Not a good day

Thanks so much to everyone for the welcome. It is great to know there are other mums out there who understand what we go through and I look forward to getting to know you all better!
