Zip-e-do-dar, zip-e-dee-day, my oh my what a wonderful day

Bath time - we're playing the game where Lottie says 'bye-bye' and I sit on the floor and duck my head down and then pop up and make her jump and w both laugh loads.

So she kept saying 'bye-bye' and waving and I was saying 'bye-bye Mummy' each time. Suddenly she did it, said two words together, while waving, which the therapists said was good anyway! I was so excited!

Then as I was ducked down, i turned my head ready to pop back up and she was standing up in the bath! Aghhhhh!!!!!

The bathroom window as open and my neighbours must have thought I was a lunatic!!!

I rand D to tell him straight away and as he answered the phone I gave it to Lottie who said 'Hello', which sent him into fits of laughter as he hadn't heard me first.

A mass of hysteria!!!!

She's also kneeling now.
We say do kneeling and she goes onto all fours and says 'kneeling' and looks so incredibly proud of herself!

So anyway, needed to share my latest breakthroughs with you.

Actually while I'm here I have one more, she's learnt the colour yellow1 Although she now things every colour is yellow! but it is good when yopu point somethig out and she answers correctly!

Oh, the little sweetheart! I am in fits at the thought of you hiding on the bathroom floor and looking up and seeing her standing! She's definitely 'on her route', isn't she?

Well done little Lottie! There'll be no stopping you now.

Thomcat · 07/06/2004 17:54

Thanks girls.

Semms like the bath is the place where it all happens for us.
She stands at the bath while the water runs in with no complaints at all but complains if you make her stand anywhere else.

Think I'll get a phone and TV installed in there and not come out till she's doing cartwheels!!!

What's EVEN better girls is that she has repeated the pulling to stand. I was thinking that the bath event may have been a one off, but she's done it 3 times since, at least. Feel so happy thinking about it I felt my eyes prick with tears.
