got my date for c-section.

All being well mini eidvold3 will be here on 23rd Mar. I am first in the queue by the looks of it - have to be at the hospital at the crack of dawn!!

so glad I have a date to count down to and get everyone and everything organised.

Just cross fingers I don't go into labour early otherwise emergency c-section.

She'll be almost exactly a year younger than dd. She was born on the 20th March last year.

ooh thats not far away at all, doesnt seem 2 minutes since you were saying that you were pg.

Its good having a date, cos you can get everything prepared, i had an elective with dd and it went so smooth and i was very prepared having had advance notice of when she was being born.

I was given a come at 9am then called the ward and they said if you get here before 9.30 it'll be fine .. so we arrived at 9.14 and had to join the queue behind the people who had already checked in.. so we eventually had my delivery at 5pm I was starvin'

third section - so can get things sorted for the dds and dh can organise his time off to care for them and me when I get out.

twiglett we had that with dd2 - had to be there at 7 am and I was finally taken to theatre around 3pm - absolutely starving - apparently the registrar told me they now have a theatre dedicated to emergency c-sections and separate theatres for gyn and obstetrics whereas when dd2 was born they were sharing the theatre suite.

Worst part about waiting - only things on the bloody tv were cooking shows and I was starving having had nothing since dinner the night before!!
