Funding and changing schools. How does it work?

My dd 5 is in MS school with 1:1 support. She received higher needs funding which enabled her to have the 1:1. She doesn't have an EHCP at the moment and has recently been diagnosed with ASD.
If I wanted to change to another MS school, how would the funding and 1:1 work, would I even be able to move her?

Whatever happens I would apply for an EHCP! That funding could potentially be withdrawn at any time!

You should have no difficulty in getting a plan because you LA have already admitted there is a need for provision by paying the high needs funding!
