Annual reveiw canceled

Just that really my ds has been at this school since Sept had an annual review booked first week in July. Was then changed to late June as Senco couldn't do previous date. Phoned today canceled again now no date just in September when school re starts!! Can they do this?????

They're supposed to have the AR within 12 months of the date when the statement/EHCP was issued, and thereafter within 12 months of the preceding AR. So if it's more than 12 months then technically they shouldn't do it, but there's not much you can do about it other than put in a formal complaint.

Thank you that explains it he doesn't have an EHCP that is why they've cancelled his then easiest target.

As he's due an annual review I assume he has a statement? The law is the same for statements as for EHCPs.

No no statement either it's is private specialist school. I've just began the EHC process again.

If he doesn't have a statement then there is no statutory requirement to hold an annual review at all.
