Possible adhd diagnosis

Had a meeting with ds(6)'s teacher who informed me that they have had someone in to watch him in class and think it is highly likely he has adhd, I am now waiting for a phonecall from someone so we can take this forward with meetings, etc. I have had a suspicion for awhile so I am not shocked but would really like to read up on ways to help him (and us) deal with and help with behaviour.
Can anyone please suggest some good books, documentaries or websites with good practical advice? I would like to be as informed as possible. Thanks

I go to a monthly workshop for parents or carers of children with ADHD, diagnosed or not. It's brilliant; every month covers a different topic. They are run by a local special needs charity. Check out if there is something like this in your area. The sessions have been very informative.
