Good primary schools for ASD

Hi I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good mainstream/private or ideally ASD unit within mainstream primary's? We are happy to move for the best school but need to be fairly close to London (no more than 2hrs by train).

I've looked online but am struggling, did see St Andrews in Oxfordshire but couldn't find a huge amount of info. Any advice would be brilliant.

I'm from up north so no ideas about schools in your area but can you phone the Sen at your local council? Perhaps they could advise you on schools?Smile

Thanks for the replies, there are no ASD units within our area (south Hampshire) for primary but I will try and find out what's available in neighbouring Counties. He has significant learning difficulties (he's 6), cannot recognise colours, shapes, numbers etc so wanted to see what other specialist schools could offer.
