hi all . Although i gET DLA for my son who has Ds ,I was wondering if anyone gets it for their child with ADHD. I have recently made friends with a lady who has a daughter with this and as a single mother ,she is struggling badly financially.I,m sure that she could ,which would then open other avenues for her to gets extra help , she says her worse problems are shoes and clothes which her child goes through a lot of or loses. ( THIRD PE KIT SINCE SEPTEMBER). Any advice please, i,m getting her to send of for the forms and helping her write off for things, she doesnt have a computer so i'm doing some work on her for her
Thanks
jules

Hi Jules my ds1 has adhd and he is on middle rate care and low rate mobility. Go to the bhas website and there ae guides to help you with filling in the forms. I dont know how to link the site but just type bhas into google and it should come up. Hope your friend can get some help with the forms fom these guides.

Thanks for the replies, i can help with the forms as my son gets DLA higher rates for both care and mobility. I have managed to direct her in the right direction with income support ,who really should have advised her about DLA as they know she has a child with special needs. I just want to help her as she is struggling and there is help out there for her and her child.
