My dd's spld school is shortly, sadly , to close due to falling numbers, and I'm frantically looking for a boarding place for my very anxious, dyslexic dyspraxic Apd 12 yr old. Bredon -on paper- looking strong. Anyone have any thoughts? Thank you.

Bredon is a good school, as is St David's College in North Wales.

It depends - how does your Dd's anxiety manifest? Is she used to boarding? My DS suffers anxiety (social phobia regarding peers) and needs a gentle approach. He has no 'challenging 'behaviours but needs confidence building. Neither of these schools would even let him try - though they did seem nice schools for pupils who do not suffer anxiety. Also depends on wether you are self funding or needing LA funding - some indie schools don't want to get involved with that and that may have been another reason. Sorry to hear the current school closing - if she is happy there, such a shame.
