Dry at Night

DS2 is 4 in Feb - he has just started being dry at night - all one his own bless him - He toilet trained himself in the summer when we were on hols, he just decided to go on the toilet and pulled off his nappy. Clever little sausage. (He has autism)

thats brilliant news my ds is 4 in january and shows no sign of understanding toilet training he has asd too.

That's fantastic news!

Ds1 is 6 and still isn't dry at night so well done to your ds2.

Bubble78 - Ds2 is 4 next month and has no idea either.

Well done to your son. My DD became dry in May this year during the day but still wears pull ups at night. No where near ready to come out of night time pull ups.

... but saying that I am still proud because some children with sotos syndrome don't become dry in the day until they are 7 or so (due to low muscle tone).

It's a major achievement no matter what the age really.
