Hi, having had our initial application to assess rejection I am now going to do mediation. We have date, late March, and I'm wanting advice on what I need to prepare going into the meeting.
My son (aged nine and in year four) is currently coping well in school due to accommodations they've made for him. The concern is that he will need specialist provision or lots of support in mainstream when he is secondary age. He has executive functioning issues and will not have the independence needed at secondary school. He also has a lot of anxiety which is worsened when he perceives that he not performing well.
What do you think?
