Happy Mothers Day

Mothers day in a house with a DD with ASD. She is stressed and shouting and refusing to help and is saying she won't go out to lunch as she 'feels ill'. In other words trying to control everything nd everyone.

This could be a long day. And probably not one where I feel relaxed.

Oh she has just drawn on the wall!

I gave up any expectations years ago. I just carry on like any other day and it works for us. We're going out for dinner, but that's not unusual so we've not made it into a special event, IYSWIM.

Things have improved. We are out in the sunshine and the pressure is off. I too had to say to treat it like any other day!
