DLA form - Registered post or recorded delivery?

A boring question but I want to post ds1's renewal form tomorrow to get it out of the way. With it being the Christmas period would it be best to send it by registered post or by recorded delivery?

deffo recorded delivery, bear in mind that even when it gets there they say to allow a week for it to get to the right department, good luck!

Thanks, OJ. Recorded delivery it is then.

I'd also say recorded. They lost DD1's for weeks and weeks (office move) but they had to backdate it to when it arrived at the front desk because they signed for it.

I'm even more glad now that I sent it by recorded delivery yesterday. It was really cheap too. I'm guessing it's because of those pricing changes they brought in over the summer?

It arrived at the DLA office this morning.
