Had to tell everyone about this. My son J is ASD, having probs. lately with tantrums and sleeping probs. wont go to bed, screams when you try to put him in bed. Bought a disco light advised by none other than Blossom Hill (thank you Blossom Hill!!!).
Well all I can say is thank you so much, it has really worked well. Some people think disco lights means bouncing around, really fast lights but it isnt like that. Just like a small lamp with lots of diff. coloured lights on it (Argos 8.99 - well worth the money). Rotates really slowly and the lights reflect off the ceiling.
He loves it, actually doesn't mind going to bed and when he goes into his bedroom says "pitty lights" big grin on his face.
If anyone has bedtime difficulties it is well worth a try.
